Why should you volunteer?
Police violence and Black gang violence against the life of Black teenagers and Black men is a healthcare issue that needs to be taken seriously. wautEcabm has taken up the mantle of bridging the gap between Law Enforcement and the Black community. This is a collective educational effort that may require much more than trends and hashtags on social media. The nature of the training and the community involvement requires a great level of human resources. We have a mammoth task ahead of us to reconcile the police and the Black community and introduce healing after all the loss and pain the Black community has suffered. This initiative requires a lot of hard work and devotion; we require volunteers that have a strong conviction for addressing racial and law enforcement issues in the United States.
At wautEcabm, we recognize Law Enforcement is an essential part our nation and we are proud of the role Police Officers play in our country. We salute law enforcement for the work they’re doing and acknowledge the majority of Police Officers in America are courageous, brave men and women who are protecting our nation with excellence and greatness. We also recognize that some Police Officers are bad cops who need healing, training and support to help them effectively provide efficient, safe community orienting police services in the Black community.
