wautEcabm, Inc. (pronounced watt-e-comm) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to bring racial reconciliation and healing between Law Enforcement Officers and the Black Community. Our work aims toward the eradication and elimination of racial inequality and injustices against African Americans by Police Officers, white male vigilantes and black male gangs. We believe there is an inter-connecting link between these crimes against Black males that has its roots in over 200 years of national leadership denials, racial prejudices, discrimination, degradation and deprecation of the soul of black boys and men in America. We are working with leaders and individuals all across America to desensitize the conscious from the shock of inhumane actions against black men, so that individuals and leaders are comfortably mobilized to take action toward racial equality.
The organization is headquartered in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. The Illinois office serves as the central hub of operations for strategic initiatives and strategy developments. wautEcabm is now building offices in several regional locations throughout United States. The organization’s Advisory Board provides strategic direction for leadership development, human resources, financial planning and oversight, in addition to staff development support and training for all staff and volunteers.
